What is the Throne of Solomon?

The Throne of Solomon is mentioned in several passages in the Bible, including 1 Kings 10:18-20 and 2 Chronicles 9:17-19. These passages describe the throne as being made of ivory and overlaid with gold. It had six steps, and on each step, there were lions and other animals carved into the ivory.
