Who was Seth's wife in the bible?

In the Bible, Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve, born after the murder of his brother Abel by his other brother Cain. According to Genesis 5:4, Seth had a son named Enosh at the age of 105, and he lived to be 912 years old.

However, the Bible does not provide a name for Seth's wife. This has led to much speculation and debate among scholars and theologians over the years.

One popular theory is that Seth's wife was his sister. In the early days of human history, it was common for siblings to marry in order to propagate the human race. This theory is supported by the fact that later in the Bible, God forbids incestuous relationships (Leviticus 18:6-18).

Another theory is that Seth's wife was a woman from a different lineage. According to some traditions, Adam and Eve had many children, and it is possible that Seth married one of his distant cousins or a woman from another family.

There are also some extra-biblical texts that provide more information about Seth's wife. For example, the Book of Jubilees, an ancient Jewish text, claims that Seth married his sister Azura. The Book of Jasher, another ancient Jewish text, claims that Seth married his niece, the daughter of his brother Abel.

However, it is important to note that these extra-biblical texts are not considered authoritative by most Christian denominations, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
