Why has the Bible phrase, “the love of money is the root of all evil”, been so conveniently forgotten?

It is often said that love is blind. In the case of an individual who loves money, this could mean that they are willing to disregard logic and make decisions that are illegal and immoral.

In the Bible, it is stated that the love of money is the root of all evil. This phrase has been forgotten in our present times.

It is important to understand that the Bible does not state that money is evil. Rather, it is the love of money that is the problem.

Money is simply a medium of exchange and its value is determined by the amount of labor someone is willing to provide. This can be mental, physical, or both.

The term "love" refers to intense affection towards something to the extent that one can make illogical decisions.

It is often said that love is blind. In the case of an individual who loves money, this could mean that they are willing to disregard logic and make decisions that are illegal and immoral.

Examples of such decisions would be murder, theft, dacoity, smuggling, and so on.

It is interesting to note that the love of money can be termed greediness. When a person has an intense desire for money, they may be willing to trample on the rights of others, such as their right to life and dignity.

This selfish attitude disregards the welfare of others and can have disastrous consequences.

The Bible pinpoints this selfish attitude indirectly and suggests that the love of money is the root of all evil.

We should strive to maintain a healthy relationship with money, recognizing its true value and using it in a way that benefits us and those around us.
