What would be Jesus's political agenda if he were here on Earth?

What would Jesus's political agenda be if he were here on Earth today? While we can never know for sure, we can look at his teachings and actions to make some educated guesses.

First and foremost, Jesus was a champion of the poor and marginalized. He spoke out against the wealthy and powerful who oppressed the vulnerable, and he called on his followers to care for the least among us. If Jesus were here today, we can imagine that he would be advocating for policies that support the poor and working-class, such as affordable housing, access to healthcare, and a living wage.

Jesus was also a peacemaker. He taught that we should love our enemies and turn the other cheek, and he famously said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God". In a world that is increasingly divided and violent, we can imagine that Jesus would be calling for an end to war and conflict, and for nations to work together for the common good.

Finally, Jesus was a champion of justice and equality. He challenged the societal norms of his time, and he welcomed all people, regardless of their race, gender, or social status. If Jesus were here today, we can imagine that he would be speaking out against racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination, and he would be advocating for policies that promote equality and justice for all.

Of course, Jesus's political agenda would go far beyond these few points. He was a complex figure with a message that is still relevant today, and we can only imagine what he would say if he were here with us now. But one thing is certain: if we take his teachings to heart and strive to live as he did, we can create a more just, peaceful, and compassionate world.
