What to say when leading communion

Communion is a Christian ceremony in which bread and wine are shared.

The sharing of bread and wine indicates that one is thankful for the sacrifice made by Christ on the cross.

Wine symbolically represents Christ's blood whereas bread represents his body.

One could simply say 'Hail God and his son Jesus Christ for absolving us of our original sin through the greatest sacrifice. Amen!'
