What Time Shabbat Ends

The time when Shabbat ends varies depending on the location and time of year. In general, Shabbat ends at nightfall on Saturday evening, which is defined as the appearance of three stars in the sky.

In the summer months, nightfall can be quite late, and Shabbat may not end until well after 9:00pm or even later in some locations. In the winter months, however, nightfall can occur much earlier, and Shabbat may end as early as 5:00pm or earlier.
