What Is The Tree Of Life In The Bible

The Tree of Life and Knowledge were present in the Garden of Eden. The Tree of Life is a sacred tree and the source of eternal life. It represents the connection between god and humanity.

After Adam and Eve’s transgression (eating from the Tree of Knowledge), they were cast out of the Garden of Eden and prevented from accessing the Tree of Life.

Eating from the Tree of Life gives the blessing of ingesting god-like qualities like immortality. It can be conjectured that the Tree of Life may be the holy grail sought after by many Mystics and kings in ancient times.

Jesus himself claims to be a tree of life in the Bible. The Tree of Life is mentioned in all three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam)

In Norse mythology, the Tree of Life is named as Yggdrasil.

The Menorah symbolizes the Tree of Life in Judaism.
