What Does It Mean To Submit To God

Submitting to God means obeying God by practicing the teachings mentioned in the Bible. For a Jew, it could be the teachings of the ten commandments mentioned in the Torah; for a Muslim, it could be the teachings mentioned in the Quran.

Submitting to God also connotes that one has placed his fate in the hands of God. The future holds uncertainty, and through submission, one stops worrying about this uncertainty. The only thing that matters is living in harmony with God's teachings. The Bible is believed to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, one of the members of the holy trinity, so followers of God can be sure that they are submitting to God by practicing the teachings of the Bible.
