What Did The Angel Gabriel Say To Mary

According to the Christian Bible, the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary in the town of Nazareth and said:

"Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you! Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end."

This is referred to as the Annunciation and is recorded in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 1, verses 26-38. The announcement by the angel Gabriel that Mary would conceive a son through the Holy Spirit is a central event in Christian theology and is celebrated annually as the Feast of the Annunciation.
