What is the breath of life that flowed through Adam's body?

As we read in the Tanakh, Adam was created from the dust of the earth and God breathed the breath of life into his nostrils. So, what is this breath of life that flowed through Adam's body? The Hebrew word for breath is "neshamah," which can
