What does it mean to speak against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:32)?

The idea is that the Holy Spirit actively works to draw individuals towards God and reveal the truth of Christ. When one attributes these revelations and acts of righteousness to Satan, they close the door to redemption and forgiveness.
