Trinitarian Christianity says Jesus was fully God and Fully man. Did Jesus (the man) know this to be the case?

Some scholars propose that Jesus had an inherent understanding of His identity but chose to veil it for a purpose. This might align with biblical moments where He refrains from outright claims about being God.
