Is The Bible Fiction Or Non Fiction
When we consider the motion of planets and the distance between the sun and the Earth, it becomes clear that these occurrences are not mere coincidences, but rather deliberate attempts to create life on Earth.
The Bible is a holy book that is highly respected by millions of people worldwide. However, due to the rise of books like Richard Dawkin's 'The Selfish Gene' and 'The God Delusion,' many individuals have begun to question their Christian beliefs and have begun to wonder if the Bible is nothing more than a work of fiction.
In order to address this question, we must first ask ourselves what non-fiction means. Non-fiction refers to works that convey information that has actually occurred in the real world.
From my perspective, the Bible is a non-fiction book because the workings of the Universe cannot simply be a matter of chance. Even prominent scientists like Albert Einstein have expressed that God does not play dice with the Universe. Therefore, we must closely examine the nature of our surroundings and answer the question ourselves.
When we consider the motion of planets and the distance between the sun and the Earth, it becomes clear that these occurrences are not mere coincidences, but rather deliberate attempts to create life on Earth. This suggests that a master creationist, or simply God, was responsible for such a monumental project.
Additionally, the mathematical arrangement of our Universe implies that a higher power played a role in its creation. The Book of Genesis tells the story of creation, while the Gospels recount the actual events of God's only son, Christ.
These are the reasons why the Bible should be considered non-fiction.
