How Many Judgments Are There In The Bible

There are several judgments in the Bible. At least four judgments in the Bible stand out from the rest. They are the judgment of Babylon the Great, the Judgment of the Beast and the False Prophet, the Sheep and the goat's Judgment, and the Great White Throne Judgment.

Following is the passage from the Bible about the judgment of Babylon, the Great.

"Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord's vengeance; he will repay her what she deserves. Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord's hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore, they have now gone mad. Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. Wail over her! Get balm for her pain; perhaps she can be healed." - Jeremiah 51:6-8

In the above passage, God is taking vengeance on Babylon the Great for her sins which are heaped high as heavens.

Following is the passage from the Bible about the judgment of the beast and the false prophet.

"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." - Revelation 19:20

In the passage above, the beast (antichrist) and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire for waging war against Christ, cursing God, and killing multitudes during the great tribulation.

Following is the passage from the Bible about the sheep and goats judgment.

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left." - Matthew 25: 31-33

In the passage above, Christ judges the people on earth before his 1000-year reign.

Following is the passage in the Bible about the Great White Throne Judgment.

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which was in them, and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." - Revelation 20:11-15

In the passage above, God judges even the dead after the 1000-year reign of Christ, known as the Millennium. Even death will be done away with after this judgment.
