Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 13 that love is the greatest mark of maturity. A mature Christian loves sacrificially, forgives readily, and serves others selflessly. Humility is another sign, as mature believers acknowledge their need for God and avoid pride.
Chicken is not listed among the unclean birds and is therefore considered permissible to eat according to Jewish dietary law. However, these restrictions were given to the people of Israel under the Old Covenant and were not specifically tied to particular days of remembrance such as Good Friday.
At its core, Bible study is about knowing God, being transformed by His truth, receiving guidance, equipping for service, building community, and fueling worship.
Throughout the Old Testament, chaos often appears as a consequence of turning away from God. The stories of the Flood (Genesis 6–9), the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11), and the exile of Israel are examples where disorder follows rebellion against God’s ways.
History shows that, rather than suppressing Christianity, persecution often accelerated its spread. As Christians fled hostile regions, they carried their faith to new lands.
